Gulet Cruise, Turkey

A gulet cruise is a wonderful combination of eating and drinking under the warm Mediterranean sun, swimming in the crystal clear Med and, of course, cruising along one of the Mediterranean’s most beautiful coastlines. Add to all this a series of picturesque coves, magnificent scenery, snorkelling and sunbathing and you have a brilliant, unique holiday. Simple pleasures and a wonderful feeling of getting away from it all.

Gulet Cruise

Travel One Gulet ★★★

Your cruise begins and ends in Marmaris and, whilst there’s no fixed itinerary, a similar route is taken on most cruises (see maps and typical itineraries). A typical day may go along the lines of, first, a leisurely breakfast followed by a couple of hours’ cruising before dropping anchor in a bay for swimming, snorkelling and lunch. Afternoon cruise, again for a couple of hours, and then anchor for the night, usually in a quiet bay. Dinner will be on board and there’s the opportunity to go ashore a couple of times during the week. The cruise itinerary is always dependent on weather and operational conditions and is always subject to the captain’s approval. There are usually 8 small-ish cabins, all with sh/wc. There’s a sunbathing area with sun mattresses, a saloon / bar, a shaded afterdeck for meals and drinks, a music system, a galley and snorkels & flippers.
