Kenya With a spectacular location overlooking the soft white sands of Bamburi Beach, the Travellers Beach Hotel is the perfect place to unwind after a memorable safari and enjoy a peaceful, relaxing stay on Kenya’s Indian Ocean coast. All the Travellers Beach rooms are air-conditioned and have private bath/sh/wc & hairdryer, satellite TV and a balcony or terrace. The hotel’s facilities include 3 restaurants, 2 bars, regular African themed evenings, live music, swimming pool and, payable locally, a tennis court, gym and beauty centre.

Safari & Bamburi Beach Itinerary
Day 1, Thursday
Depart Heathrow for Nairobi on overnight scheduled flight.
Day 2, Friday
Arrive Nairobi and transfer to Somak Holidays’ safari lounge near Nairobi where you can freshen up and store any additional luggage (we recommend you take just a holdall on the 4 night safari). Depart for Lake Naivasha. After lunch, a boat ride on the lake. Overnight at Lake Naivasha Simba Lodge (lunch & dinner).
Day 3, Saturday
After breakfast, depart for Lake Nakuru. Lunch, followed by afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge. (breakfast, lunch & dinner).
Day 4, Sunday
After an early breakfast, depart for the world famous Masai Mara National Reserve. Lunch and afternoon game drive. Overnight at Ashnil Mara Camp (breakfast, lunch & dinner).
Day 5, Monday
Morning and afternoon game drives (or an optional morning balloon flight and afternoon game drive) in the Masai Mara and overnight at the Ashnil Mara Camp (breakfast, lunch and dinner).
Day 6, Tuesday
After breakfast, return to Nairobi to collect additional luggage, freshen up and enjoy light refreshments in the Somak safari lounge. Afternoon flight to Mombasa. Overnight at Travellers Beach Hotel (breakfast, light refreshments & dinner). Spend 3 nights at leisure at the Travellers Beach Hotel (breakfast and dinner)
Day 9, Friday
Afternoon flight from Mombasa to Nairobi to connect with overnight scheduled flight to Heathrow. Or extend beach stay by 5 nights. Day 10, Saturday or Day 15 Thursday, Arrive Heathrow early morning.
