Your Itinerary

Day 1 – Depart the UK for overnight flight to Delhi.
Day 2 – Arrive Delhi and day at leisure. Dinner and overnight in Delhi.
Day 3 – A guided tour of Old and New Delhi, the colourful bazaars and the Mughal architecture of Old Delhi contrasting with the formal splendour of New Delhi. A visit to the Qutab Minar tower, an architectural wonder of ancient India, and a visit also to Humanyun’s tomb, UNESCO World Heritage Site. See also the Rashtrapati Bhawan and India gate. Then on to Old Delhi to see the imposing Red Fort followed by a rickshaw ride through Old Delhi. Stroll through bustling markets and bazaars and get a feel for life in India’s capital city. Dinner and overnight in Delhi.
Day 4 – Drive from Delhi to Agra (approx. 4hrs). Afternoon visit to the Agra Fort and time for shopping. Dinner and overnight in Agra.
Day 5 – A ride to the Taj Mahal in a horse-drawn carriage to take in its sublime beauty with the first rays of the morning sun. Built by the Mughal Emperor, Shah Jahan, in the 16th century for his Queen Mumtaz Mahal, it is one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Then on to Jaipur (approx 5hrs 30mins) and, en route, visit FatehpurSikri, an exquisite World Heritage Site with its red sandstone, forts, palaces and mosques. Dinner and overnight in Jaipur.
Day 6 – A morning sightseeing tour of Jaipur including the Hawa Mahal, or “Palace of the Winds”, the ancient observatory and the Amber Fort, the ancient capital of the Rajput rulers. You will reach the Fort by elephant followed by a visit to the beautiful palaces including pavilions, gardens and the famous Kali temple. Later, drive to the City Palace, the Royal Residence, the Ancient Observatory and time for shopping. Dinner and overnight in Jaipur.
Day 7 – Leave for Jodhpur (approx. 6hrs) and a tour of the ‘blue city’, with its magnificent palaces, forts and temples and set in the stark landscape of the Thar Desert. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay in Jodhpur.
Day 8 – After breakfast, visit Bishnoi Village by jeep, a famous eco-friendly area and a sect of the Hindu religion. Later, at leisure and time to explore Jodhpur or visit the Bazaar Walk in Ghantaghar Market. Dinner and overnight stay in Jodhpur.
Day 9 – Breakfast and morning at leisure in Jodhpur. Transfer to Jodhpur airport for your flight to Delhi. Dinner and overnight in Delhi.
Day 10 – Transfer to Delhi airport for your flight to Goa or return flight to the UK.
