If you haven’t heard of a ‘gulet’ then you’re in for a treat. These traditional Turkish wooden vessels are the best way to see the coast on what is known as a ‘blue cruise’. Gulets are motorised for relaxed cruising, and have a big sundeck, perfect for sunbathing and watching the beautiful scenery. Meals are prepared by the crew and eaten on board under a shady canopy. You will visit places, which can only be seen from the sea, and stop off for swimming in secluded bays. A gulet cruise is a wonderful way to get away from it all and really relax. This cruise begins and ends in Bodrum, at the attractive marina and cruise along a pretty stretch of coast, as far as the town of Kokova and back. En route you will explore a series of picturesque coves, enjoy magnificent scenery, try snorkelling and have plenty of time to soak up the sun.
BODRUM-GÖKOVA-BODRUM
Day 1 – Board gulet in Bodrum, overnight in Bodrum harbour
Day 2 – Cruise Alakisla bay and overnight in Çökertme
Day 3 – Cruise to Tuzla bay. Overnight at English Harbour
Day 4 – Cruise to Karacasogut with free time for exploring. Overnight in Karacasogut
Day 5 – Cruise to Ballisu bay and overnight is Longoz
Day 6 – Cruise to Kargili bay and then onto Orak Island. Overnight stay at Orak Island
Day 7 – Cruise to Pabuç after breakfast. Haremten bay is after
lunch then it is time to sail
into the harbour of Bodrum and overnight
is in the harbour.
Day 8 – Leave gulet at approx. 10.00am and transfer to airport
