Corfu Gulet Cruise, Greece
The Ionian Islands are an emerald scattering of seven main islands –, Ithaca, Corfu, Kefalonia, Lefkada, Paxos and Kythira – found off the west coast of mainland Greece. The region is famed for pristine beaches, the unforgettable blue of the sea, and the lush Mediterranean landscape. Several lesser-known smaller islands make up this paradise cluster.
M/S Hera – ia a beautiful motorised ocean vessel that can accommodate up to 25 passengers with 9 cabins – operates the Ionian Cruise. You will spend a week at sea, exploring the very best of this island cluster paradise, stopping in Sivota, Parga, Antipaxos, Gaios and Lakka in a round trip from Corfu. Your Ionian Cruise operates with multiple boats, ie Harmonia, Aphrodite, Eros, Agiotis, Panagiota based on departure dates and seasonality.
This trip is best suited for those who want to set sail for discovery, heritage and historical sightseeing, the best of nature and deserted beaches, on-deck sea-view unwinding and the friendly atmosphere of a small ship cruise.
The friendly crew will attend to all your needs along the way. There are freshly prepared meals (Breakfast and Lunch), and all cabins include a private bathroom and air-conditioning.
Your cruise begins and ends in Corfu and, whilst there’s no fixed itinerary, a similar route is taken on most cruises (see maps and typical itineraries). A typical day may go along the lines of, first, a leisurely breakfast followed by a couple of hours’ cruising before dropping anchor in a bay for swimming, snorkelling and lunch. Afternoon cruise, again for a couple of hours, and then anchor for the night, usually in port.
Breakfast and lunch will be on board, and dinner will be taken independently in port and is not included in the cost of your holiday. The cruise itinerary is always dependent on weather and operational conditions and is always subject to the captain’s approval. There are usually 9 small-ish cabins, all with sh/wc. There’s a sunbathing area with sun mattresses, a saloon / bar, a shaded afterdeck for meals and drinks, a music system, a galley and snorkels & flippers. The gulet is not exclusive to Travel One.
